Last week my mom, mother-in-law & her friends all enjoyed a girls getaway in Highlands, NC. We had such a fun time together and stayed at a homey cabin in the mountains with the absolute cutest decor! It was seriously the cutest cabin I’ve ever stayed in that we found on Airbnb & it’s also available on Vrbo!

The owner of Acorn Falls cottage, Missy has not missed a thing! There were extra blankets in every closet and plenty of wood for the unique wood burning stove. The colorful original artwork that enhanced the mountain themed decor was nothing but fabulous! It held all six ladies perfectly with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We really enjoyed hanging out on the comfy front porch swing and the modern hanging chairs on the back porch. They were the perfect spots to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. There were gorgeous views of the changing vibrant autumn leaves that surround the home. We also enjoyed how close we were to downtown highlands and took advantage of all the local unique shopping & amazing restaurants.

Highlands, NC has become such a popular destination to visit! I highly recommend going in the fall for the colorful foliage or in the winter to see the beautiful snowy mountains.
