Spring is finally here and with every new season, I love to refresh my makeup! When shopping for beauty products, Sephora inside JCPenney is one of my favorite places to shop because the staff is very knowledgeable and are experts about the various makeup and beauty lines. They are always eager to assist me as I try different brands and colors. I recently visited my local store and they made amazing recommendations from eye palettes to hair sprays. Today I thought I’d share some of my favorite products that I tried at Sephora inside JCPenney and now have become part of my daily beauty routine!
Urban Decay Backtalk Eye & Face Palette
I’ve always been a huge fan of Urban Decay Palettes and couldn’t wait to try their new Backtalk Eye & Face Palette! First things first — the packaging. There’s a mirror in the middle that separates eight powder eyeshadows and four highlighter/blushes, and the mirror slides out, which I really like! The color selection features universally flattering shades in a range of nude-mauve pink, soft berry and rose shades for your eyes and cheeks. All of the colors included in the Backtalk palette work beautifully together and have outstanding pigmentation that is easily blendable and long-lasting. My favorites are the shimmery shades that are glitter free and add just the right amount of shimmer to complete your look!
Milk Makeup Blur Stick
I am a newbie to wearing Milk Makeup so I was really excited to try out some of their products! One product that caught my eye right away was the Blur Stick. It comes in their typical “chubby stick” packaging, making it super easy to apply, which I liked! The blur stick promises to blur skin imperfections, fine lines & pores. I instantly saw a difference when I applied it! Some of my discoloration seemed to be smoothed but the product is completely clear. I love how much lighter it is than a creamy primer because you can barely feel it! I’m now in love with this product and it has become a part of my everyday makeup routine!
IGK Beach Club Texture Spray
I am always on the hunt for a good hairspray and was drawn to the IGK Beach Club Texture Spray right away! Mostly because the packaging has a chic blue beach background, but it gets even better once you try it! For me, it’s hard to find a textured spray that doesn’t leave your hair sticky and surprisingly this one doesn’t! It’s a weightless formula that gives amazing volume! It’s also a great way to achieve the wavy beach hair look and helps define curls. Hands down my new must have for my hair!
If you want to learn more about what types of products work best for your hair and makeup goals, I highly recommend that you go to Sephora inside JCPenney and speak with a beauty expert at your local store!
As always, thanks so much for stopping by! If you have any questions about the products I tried, please let me know in the comment section below.

That blurring stick sounds super interesting. Do you find that it dries out your skin?

It really is so cool! I’ve never used anything like it. But, it definitely doesn’t! It goes on super lightweight and not drying at all.
