The holidays are in full swing, which brings out a lot of fun, festive textures!  Sequins and lace are always my favorites to wear this time of year.

Speaking of sequins .. I’ve been wanting to try out the sequin legging trend the last few holiday seasons, but surprisingly never bought a pair.  To be honest,  I wasn’t sure how they’d look on my short petite frame.  Well, this year I finally caved and decided to try out these sequin leggings from Express.  I’m in love with them!!  They’re super stretchy and incredibly comfortable.  I also don’t have to worry about them being itchy or snagging. Which were some of my concerns before purchasing them.  But, I’m happy to report, I haven’t had any of those issues!  They run true to size and I’m wearing a size XS, which is my usual size 2 for reference.

Since sequins are a statement piece, I decided to keep my top tame but chic.  This little lace top from Sail to Sable has been a staple piece in my wardrobe all season long.  It’s so versatile and pairs well with almost anything – including skirts!  How gorgeous is the lace detail?  It’s so feminine and classic, I’m sure I’ll have it in my wardrobe for years to come!  I’m wearing a size XS for reference.  Sail to Sable has a ton of gorgeous pieces that are perfect for the holiday season.  If you haven’t checked out their holiday collection, you’re missing out!

You can never go wrong with an all-black outfit, but I wanted to add a little color with some pops of pink!  I’ve been rocking this Sam Edelman pink pom pumps the entire holiday season.  Yes, they’re perfect for holiday parties!  But, the best part is,  they’re 40% off & they would still look great after the holidays!  I’d wear them to weddings, Valentine’s Day, Easter or anything else I’d typically wear heels for! 😉
