Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, everyone! It has been a long week, and I am welcoming the weekend with open arms. Before I sign off for the weekend, I’m sharing a few of my favorite things from this past week with another addition of Friday Favorites.

Nomaterra

First up, is the New York City based fragrance brand, Nomaterra.

Their scents are luxurious and travel-inspired. I tried out their Cape Cod Wild Beach Rose fragrance, and it smells amazing! It is a crisp light floral & feminine scent, that is inspired by the beaches of Cape Cod. Nomaterra offers a scent quiz on their website, so you can discover which sent is best for you!

Affordable Transition Pieces

Summer is almost over, so I’m not looking to spend a lot of money on pieces I won’t be able to wear in the upcoming months. But since the temps outside are still extremely hot, here are some pieces you can wear now and transition easily into your fall wardrobe!

Paul Mitchell Hair Straighter

This Paul Mitchell Pro Tool not only has a beautiful floral purple pattern, but it works really well too! After trying it out, I quickly ditched the straightener I was using, and started using the Pro Tool on a daily basis. This limited edition tool lets you straighten, flip and add waves to your hair. It also has a temperate control setting, which is important so that you don’t damage your hair!

Choker Necklaces

The choker trend is back this summer. I remember writing about the 90’s choker trend first resurfacing last year, but it’s back again now, more than ever! I’ve tried out the classic black ‘ribbon choker’, that instantly adds edge to any look. But, I’m especially loving the delicate gold, tie front & embellished chokers that have been popping up. These pieces go with everything, and are great for layering. Below are some of my favorites:

Ah I can’t seem to get into the chocker trend but I want to so bad! I went to the 98 Degrees concert last night and so many girls were wearing them and they all looked so cute!!!
